Cold Hardiness: U.S.D.A. Zones 3 to 9 - Hostas require a minimum of 40 days of around 40 degrees farenheit. Hosta plants tend to grow larger in the North. In the South you may need to be more selective in the varieties of hostas that you choose.
Light Requirements: Partial sun, filtered shade, morning sun. - Most hostas will tolerate some sun if the soil is kept reasonably moist. Morning sun or filtered sun is the best for hostas but avoid mid-day sun as it will burn the leaves.
Water Requirements: Keep soil constantly moist avoiding any areas where water may puddle
Fertilizer Requirements: In early Spring apply a light amount of slow-release fertilizer. Avoid getting any fertilizer on the leaves.

    Touch of Class

I ordered two of these, and they arrived today looking really nice. It's mid-June, and now that they are in the ground they look like they've been there since spring. Great!

Plant arrived in excellent shape. I have ordered many plants from different nurseries, but I have never seen any product so well-wrapped and packaged, so obviously cared for. This plant was beyond my expectations. I will definitely re-order from this company. 98 out of 100!

    Absolutely Stunning!!

Last year (2020) we purchased several "Touch of Class" Hosta and planted them the moment they arrived in the mail. Even after the BRUTAL Texas polar vortex of February 2021, to our delight each one of these breath-taking beauties has pushed through the ground this spring and are simply STUNNING and growing with great gusto. One plant has been a little slower to poke though the dirt, but we continued to water the area where we planted and a couple of days ago we noticed a new shoot pushing through, and this plant is soaring through taller and growing stronger each day. Inspired by this confidence, I purchased a few more "Touch of Class" Hosta for our flower beds. They arrived on schedule and were planted within an hour of arrival and are just like each specimen from last year - simply STUNNING. The colors are so rich and vibrant and are putting on a real show in our gardens already. Planting a strong, healthy and quality plant has always produced amazing results for us. Thank you Pine Forest Gardens for growing and providing such quality Hosta for all gardeners to enjoy year after year.

What a great group to order from

I have ordered lots of plants from many nurseries. These hostas that I received from Pine Forest were the best plants-by-mail I have ever gotten. I will certainly be ordering from them again. Fast, nice price, great product size, nice packaging, arrived with the roots still wet and leaves nicely nestled & bushy. Healthy & happy.

    Touch of Class Hosta

These were very large plants with super-developed root systems. They are bare-root, but so much better than those I have received from other vendors. These looked beautiful and healthy from day one because they were packed so well. Not even a broken leaf. Thanks so much!
