$15.00
Hosta Guacamole is one of the most sought after hostas today! Large near-white blooms also have a bonus of being very fragrant in late summer. Leaves are chartreuse with a wide green edge. This hosta selection is the 2002 American Hosta Society Growers Hosta of the Year.
Cold Hardiness: U.S.D.A. Zones 3 to 9 - Hostas require a minimum of 40 days of around 40 degrees farenheit. Hosta plants tend to grow larger in the North. In the South you may need to be more selective in the varieties of hostas that you choose.
Light Requirements: Partial sun, filtered shade, morning sun. - Most hostas will tolerate some sun if the soil is kept reasonably moist. Morning sun or filtered sun is the best for hostas but avoid mid-day sun as it will burn the leaves.
Water Requirements: Keep soil constantly moist avoiding any areas where water may puddle
Fertilizer Requirements: In early Spring apply a light amount of slow-release fertilizer. Avoid getting any fertilizer on the leaves.

    Guacamole hostas

I ordered ~ 7. They arrived very quickly, with wonderful packing, healthy foliage, and amazing root systems. I am watering them daily. Plants were large enough, that I took the risk and divided about half of them! Fingers crossed…

Most beautiful hostas I have ever seen

I have two Guacamoles I bought from Richard Jolly one there and one through the mail. After being planted they are thriving. These hostas are absolutely gorgeous and they grow to be pretty big.
