Miniature in every dimension — leaves barely two inches long, the whole plant just four inches tall and thirteen inches wide — yet 'Tears of Joy' offers something unexpectedly moving. Narrow, lance-shaped green leaves, slightly twisted and moderately wavy, build a compact mound that rewards close attention. Lavender flowers follow in summer. Small things, well made.
