Baby Booties 7" Tall X 12" Wide

$15.00
(D. & M. Beilstein 2012) This cute miniature hosta is a seedling of Doug Beilsteins's F2 cross of 'Swoosh' and H. capitata. Good growing rounded leaves with a bright white edge that stands out in the garden. Great mini for a trough, pot or other container. Also, works well in a fairy garden.
Cold Hardiness: U.S.D.A. Zones 3 to 9 - Hostas require a minimum of 40 days of around 40 degrees farenheit. Hosta plants tend to grow larger in the North. In the South you may need to be more selective in the varieties of hostas that you choose.
Light Requirements: Partial sun, filtered shade, morning sun. - Most hostas will tolerate some sun if the soil is kept reasonably moist. Morning sun or filtered sun is the best for hostas but avoid mid-day sun as it will burn the leaves.
Water Requirements: Keep soil constantly moist avoiding any areas where water may puddle
Fertilizer Requirements: In early Spring apply a light amount of slow-release fertilizer. Avoid getting any fertilizer on the leaves.

These little guys are so cute and arrived in really good condition. I popped them in the garden and they seem to be very happy. I look forward to seeing them for many years.

The smaller one was in terrible shape I.e. several leaves brown, limp. Left it in water ivernite and believe it will survive.
