This gorgeous sport of hosta Blue Angel emerges in early spring with each leaf a bright creamy white. At some point during the season the center becomes light green with blue-green margin. Later in the season the center fades to leave a simply stunning large blue hosta. Displays beautiful lavender flowers in the summer. Provide adequate shade as too much sun can burn blue hosta plants.

Cold Hardiness: U.S.D.A. Zones 3 to 9 - Hostas require a minimum of 40 days of around 40 degrees farenheit. Hosta plants tend to grow larger in the North. In the South you may need to be more selective in the varieties of hostas that you choose.
Light Requirements: Partial sun, filtered shade, morning sun. - Most hostas will tolerate some sun if the soil is kept reasonably moist. Morning sun or filtered sun is the best for hostas but avoid mid-day sun as it will burn the leaves.
Water Requirements: Keep soil constantly moist avoiding any areas where water may puddle
Fertilizer Requirements: In early Spring apply a light amount of slow-release fertilizer. Avoid getting any fertilizer on the leaves.

    Hostas

    I received the two Hostas I ordered, Guardian Angel and First Blush and was so surprised. These were not little plants but very large plants. Color and condition were both well grown and beautiful. I will definitely order more products from Pine Forest.
