Hosta Pocketful of Sunshine

Pocketful of Sunshine PP23709 9"T X 19"W

$16.00
This very cute small hosta grows quickly to form a compact clump of thick, rugose, distinctly cupped leaves that are yellow with broad, deep green margins at maturity. The centers of the leaves are chartreuse in spring and brighten as the season progresses. Sport of Rainforest Sunshine.
Cold Hardiness: U.S.D.A. Zones 3 to 9 - Hostas require a minimum of 40 days of around 40 degrees farenheit. Hosta plants tend to grow larger in the North. In the South you may need to be more selective in the varieties of hostas that you choose.
Light Requirements: Partial sun, filtered shade, morning sun. - Most hostas will tolerate some sun if the soil is kept reasonably moist. Morning sun or filtered sun is the best for hostas but avoid mid-day sun as it will burn the leaves.
Water Requirements: Keep soil constantly moist avoiding any areas where water may puddle
Fertilizer Requirements: In early Spring apply a light amount of slow-release fertilizer. Avoid getting any fertilizer on the leaves.

    first online hosta order ever

I purchased 7 hostas from Pine Forest Gardens last week. I was very impressed with the customer service, the fast delivery, and the excellent condition the plants arrived in. There were only 2 broken leaves on a total of 7 plants. All plants arrived three days after I ordered them and were very healthy looking. I will definitely order from Pine Forest Gardens again!

    Hosta Review

I was really impressed with the quality of these hostas! Came packaged neatly and are very good quality. I wasn't able to plant them right away with the weather, but I kept them wrapped up and they were still in great shape to plant a few days later. Thank you!
